my approach

My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I believe in creating a warm and nonjudgmental environment where you can freely express your thoughts and feelings. Together, we'll identify patterns, develop coping strategies, and create positive change.

individual therapy

I specialize in working with disordered eating, Borderline Personality Disorder, trauma, anxiety and depression. My approach combines processing and exploring underlying emotions while also offering tangible and effective coping skills. If you’re looking for a more structured treatment, I offer DBT skills coaching, which focuses specifically on learning and implementing tools from DBT. In addition, I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy, a time-limited (12-15 sessions) therapy that addresses symptoms of trauma.

group therapy

I have years of experience running DBT skills groups and process groups. I plan to launch a low-cost online process group in late 2023, and a DBT skills group in 2024. Please reach out to me if you would like to join the waitlist for either group, or if you’re interested in learning more.

clinical supervision

I offer individual supervision for AMFTs and ASWs. Providing thorough and effective supervision is very important to me, and I offer a sliding-scale fee to help ease the financial weight of working towards licensure hours. I love working with supervisees who are passionate about this line of work and who need additional support around clients with eating disorders and/or Borderline Personality Disorder. Please reach out to me for more information.

““It is hard to be happy without a life worth living. Of course, all lives are worth living in reality. No life is not worth living. But what is important is that you experience your life as worth living – one that is satisfying, and one that brings happiness.”
